Top Boy: Summerhouse (2011-2013)

Top Boy was the name of a British crime series on Channel 4, that debuted in 2011 and lasted until 2013. Critics liked it, but fans weren't all that enthused. Well, except for one massively famous fan. It ends up Canada's top rap star Drake was a huge fan of the show and launched a giant social media campaign to get it back on TV. Drizzy's social media reach was big enough that, sure enough, in 2019 Netflix kept the show going. But they knew fans would be incredibly confused. If the show that started in 2019 was also called Top Boy, how would they differentiate it from the show that debuted in 2011? The decision was to call the original two seasons of the show Top Boy: Summerhouse, since those ones took place in London's gritty Summerhouse estates. The show centers around a group of teens in a tough London neighborhood trying to make money the only way they know how-- by selling drugs. Ra'Nell (Malcolm Kamulete) is a violent dude trying to sell weed after his mom (Sharon Duncan-Brewster) ends up in a mental institution. Dushane (Ashley Walters) and Sully (Kane Robinson) are killing it in the drug game but get nervous when somebody steals their stash and their customers aren't happy with the supply side delays. Meanwhile, Gem (Giacomo Mancini) is trying to deal drugs, but wonders if he's too soft for the thug life. Season two will see Sully and Dushane split as a duo, causing all sorts of chaos in Summerhouse. That plotline is the primary rivalry that Netflix opted to continue with their seasons of the new show, also. For a housing project with an awful reputation, Summerhouse is packed with dudes that have amazing beach bodies. Competition in the drug dealing biz is stiff, and you will be too when you get a load of the twig and berries on streaking tweaker Tommy Vine. Tommy's running around the neighborhood naked, putting his fine Vine dick and behind on display for everyone to see! But that's not the only man making you hot on Summerhouse. While he was the only one to go bottomless, tons of Top Boys take their tops off. Ashley Walters shows his abs when him and a lovely lady spend a night together, while Tayo "Scorcher" Jarrett shows his beautiful torso while being tied up and tortured. Mr. Man will top of bottom for any of the men on Top Boy: Summerhouse!
