Twelve Thirty (2010)

A teenage Romeo inadvertently upsets a family's delicate balance in the indie drama Twelve Thirty (2010). Divorced mom Vivien Langley (Karen Young) and her Iowa City based daughters: 19-year-old Mel (Portia Reiners) and 22-year-old Maura (Mamie Gummer) all live together but feel deeply disconnected from each other. Mel and Maura’s father Martin (Reed Birney) is out of the picture after declaring himself homosexual, though he still pops in for a tryst with Vivien every now and again. It's unclear if that's for his pleasure or to make her feel normal again. Enter Jeff (Jonathan Groff), Mel’s absolutely obsessed co-worker who has sex with her once, only for her to decide that once was enough. After she rejects his advances, Jeff will go on to do some nasty stuff with Maura in a closet, then turn around and go for a romp with Vivien as well. Three for three on banging the Langley girls. That's impressive! But while a lesser movie would have our family descending into a jealous chaos, instead this film unveils a twisted web of lies and manipulation that threatens to swallow them all. Speaking of swallow, we’d gladly take a load or two from Jonathan Groff, especially when he shows off his cock and balls in two separate scenes. In the first one, he goes for a full-frontal stroll in the laundry room while his curly-haired sex partner washes some sheets. We know that scene had some of us spending some time sitting on the dryer! In the second one, he moves on to the mom as the blonde MILF unzips his pants and starts fondling his pecker! Take it off, Jonathan Groff! Twelve Thirty is definitely party time!
