Beautiful Something (2015)

Before Colman Domingo scored an Oscar nomination for playing Rustin (2023), he showed off his onscreen assets in Joseph Graham’s gay romance flick Beautiful Something (2015), not to be confused with Benjamin Belloir’s gay romance pic Beautiful Stranger (2021). Set during one night, the drama follows four gay men with diverse backgrounds as they navigate art, sex, and love. There’s a frustrated poet, a sculptor, a heartbreaker and a sugar daddy. Super cute couple Drew (Domingo) and Jim (Zack Ryan) get super sexy in the bedroom. Zack flashes his toned torso as Colman takes his photo. Then, Mr. Ryan reveals his bodacious buns when he snuggles up to a dozing Mr. Domingo. Better yet, the alluring actors share a sensuous smooch before losing their inhibitions (and their shirts) to have passionate sex! Not to be outdone, babe-alicious Brian (Brian Sheppard) exposes his chest when he and comely Chris (David Melissaratos) get busy in the sack. The skintastic act showcases David’s abs, ass, balls and shaft! The scene is so hot, the studs steam up the screen. Needless to say, there’s a lot of beautiful somethings to see in Beautiful Something since it includes views of Bob (John Lescault), Dan (Grant Lancaster), Dom (Peter Patrikios), Scotty (Themo Melikidze), Sergio (Matthew F. Rios), and Tony (Carlo D’Amore). Even though they may be clothed, they’re still good looking. Perhaps that’s why the cast won Best Actor Ensemble at the Chicago Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival as well as a statuette in Mr. Man’s pants!
