Midsommar (2019)

No matter what the season, it’s always a great time to watch Midsommar (2019). Not to be confused with the thriller Midsommer (2003) from Denmark, this American-Swedish chiller diller stars Florence Pugh and Jack Reynor as Dani and Christian, respectively. Sure, the couple has troubles at home but that’s nothing compared to what waits for them abroad. When the two vacation in Sweden for the midsummer festival, they find themselves caught up in a Scandinavian pagan cult. Under the pen and direction of Hereditary (2018) filmmaker Ari Aster, this R rated flick features Archie Madekwe, Ellora Torchia, Vilhelm Blomgren, Will Poulter, William Jackson Harper, and the skin on Mr. Reynor. The uninhibited hottie steams up the screen when he repeatedly goes full frontal. Indeed, we get to see his abs, sack and uncut shaft! If that’s not arousing enough, the nude dude bares his bum. In one scene, he is disrobed to be part of a sex ritual on stage. As such, he serves up his sausage and buns. Now, that’s what we call dinner and a show! We’re not sure how scary this trippy pic actually is but it did manage to make audience members stiff! Perhaps that’s why this creepy movie was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Horror Film and a Gotham Independent Film Award for Best Screenplay (Aster) and Best Actress (Pugh). Plus, this doesn’t include the statuette in Mr. Man’s pants! Considering all of the nudity on camera, Midsommar is bound to make you a mid-cummer!
