Two Sentence Horror Stories (2019-2022)

Originally created as a series for a (now defunct) Verizon streaming service, Two Sentence Horror Stories was turned into a full fledged series on The CW in 2019. The anthology show's premise is, well, exactly what it sounds like as short two sentence pitches are turned into terrifying tales of horror designed to shock, surprise, and even titillate! For example, the second season premiere episode "Bag Man" is basically what if The Breakfast Club had to deal with a demon in the library during Saturday detention, or the season three premiere "Crush" is basically Grey Gardens but the Beales end up fighting over the affections of Jerry the Handyman. 

Our personal favorite here at Mr. Man is the third season episode "Plant Life" which focuses on a gay couple—played by site newcomers Donald Heng and Michael Ayres—whose entire life is taken over by a seemingly innocuous plant that Michael gifts Donald. While the two never get down to business, they do share a steamy smooch early in the episode!
