NYC-born Dominican actor Victor Rasuk got bit by the acting bug at the tender age of fourteen, and it was only a matter of time before his brief period at a performing arts school lead to a role in Five Feet High and Rising (2000), a short film which became the romantic drama Raising Victor Vargas (2002). Success as the title character in that drama led to Victor playing real life skate legend Tony Alva in Lords of Dogtown (2005).
