Walton Goggins is that guy who looks familiar, but you can never quite remember his name, or exactly what you saw him in. As soon as Mr. Man starts reeling off his roles, though, you’ll have a distinct, “Oh yeah!” moment. The Alabama-born actor started out on series like Beverly Hills, 90210 and In the Heat of the Night, and in movies like The Next Karate Kid (1994) and Major League: Back to the Minors (1998). In the independent drama Red Dirt (2000), he bares his toned body with six-pack abs, a bare butt and a flash of the frontal region. (It makes up for the questionable plaid shirt he sports during a kiss with a side-burned boy.) On television, you may know him as Shane Vendrell in The Shield from 2002-2008. You may not recognize him in Sons of Anarchy, but that’s Walton looking pretty and perfect as Venus Van Dam from 2012-2014. As Boyd Crowder in Justified, Walton is sexy and solid, and took home a nomination for a Primetime Emmy for his role. He followed that up with the critically acclaimed role of Lee Russell in the HBO series Vice Principals from 2016-2017, and regular parts in Six and Deep State. He was a producer for the primetime series The Unicorn, in which he played the starring role of Wade Felton from 2019-2021. And although you see a cock and balls in The Righteous Gemstones, that’s actually a body double in place of Walton for his character Baby Billy Freeman. He’s also been in 49 feature films, including two directed by Quentin Tarantino, one by Steven Spielberg, and one by Rob Zombie. Walton is worth remembering.
