The black and white Dutch drama Wolf (2013) follows Majid (Marwan Kenzari), a mischievous Moroccan immigrant wandering through his existence. When Majid and his buddy Adil (Chems Eddine Amar) steal a scooter one night, they eventually find themselves incarcerated. Once Majid is paroled, he lives with his family and works at a flower auction warehouse to prove that his criminal days are done, but his behavior says otherwise. While the ex-con’s father (Abdelkrim Bahloul) is embarrassed by his son’s thieving past, and his mother (Baya Belal) ignores the situation, his younger brother Tarik (Mohammed El Mimouni) looks up to him. There’s also the eldest brother Hamza (Nasrdin Dchar), a terminally ill dude that Majid often visits with in the hospital. With the desire to earn some cash to help with his big bro’s mounting medical bills, Majid crosses paths with a kickboxing trainer (Raymond Thiry), who introduces him to a shady fight promoter Hakan (Cahit Ölmez) that sees dollar signs in Majid, in and out of the ring. While the kickboxer dominates in the ring, he also uses his knack for violence to do the dirty biddings of Hakan and his deadly associates. It’s only a matter of time before the well-intentioned kicker gets sucked down a downward spiral that’s sure to lead to an unhappy ending. Marwan Kenzari is quite the hunk, and we’re treated to eight shirtless scenes of his muscle-filled physique as he prepares for fights and lives it up in the bedroom with his gal pal. Kenzari is a wolf Mr. Man would love to see on his front door!
