Bloedlink (2014)

Audiences all over the world have a soft spot in their hearts (and a hard spot in their pants) for actors in reckless-themed productions — from Aidan Quinn in the American romance Reckless (2084) to Lorenzo Richelmy in the Italian comedy Reckless (2018). In between, we’ve seen Robson Green in Britain’s small screen drama Reckless (1997) and Tygo Gernandt in the Netherlands thriller Reckless (2014). Not to be confused with the CBS series Reckless (2014), the latter pic also goes by Bloedlink. Yes, this movie features Dutch dudity so Yanks in the States can add foreign assets to their spank banks! Under the direction of Joram Lürsen, the crime flick tells the tale of two ex-cons, Victor (Gernandt) and Rico (Marwan Kenzari), who devise a get rich quick scheme which involves abducting Laura Temming (Sarah Chronis). As you can guess, she’s the only daughter of a millionaire so the thugs demand a ransom for her safe return. Although this story feels by the numbers, it provides prime figures. This is especially true when the leading men expose more than their plan. In other words, check out Mr. Gernandt’s chest, glutes and junk! If that’s not hot enough, Mr. Kenzari steams up the screen when he bares his back, butt, cock and balls in multiple scenes. The flesh-filled film is based on J Blakeson’s neo-noir book “The Disappearance of Alice Creed” (2009) but we confess we’ve never read it. However, judging by this arousing adaptation, we assume it must be a bone-fied classic!
