Borgman (2013)

The Dutch thriller Borgman (2013) is a dark fable that stars Jan Bijvoet as Camiel Borgman, a charming and mysterious vagrant who lives underground but is suddenly forced out of his secret lair during a manhunt, led by a priest (Pierre Bokma), to shoo away Camiel and his fellow groundlings. Adopting the pseudonym Anton, the resourceful drifter makes his way through the nearby affluent neighborhood, dotted with ultramodern houses, and he attempts to beg his way into a home to take a much-needed bath. When Camiel becomes too insistent with one homeowner, Richard (Jeroen Perceval), he nearly beats the beggar to death. Out of guilt, Richard’s wife Marina (Hadewych Minis) secretly shelters the beaten down dude in the estate’s guest house. But it’s only a matter of time before the unwanted guest begins to enter the main house, causing Marina to worry about the welfare of her three children. Camiel eventually gets the hint and leaves, eventually returning cleaned up and shaven, nearly unrecognizable to the point that the family hires him as the new gardener to replace the one that he killed. It’s only a matter time before Camiel takes over the family and continues his murderous ways.  

The psychological thriller packs a decent flesh-filled punch. Jan Bijvoet and Alex Van Warmerdam contribute looks at their butts. Not to be outdone, Jeroen Perceval bulges through his undies, showing off his shirtless body. These Dutch films really know how to thriller us with hindness!
