Aire libre (2014)

Manuel and Lucía (Leonardo Sbaraglia and Celeste Cid) are a thirtysomething couple struggling in the marriage. In an attempt to rekindle their love (and run from their problems), they plan on moving out of the city and start afresh. The two have a shared passion for architecture, so they plan on renovating a house with a garden, forcing them to sell their apartment and move in with Lucía’s mother. Living with his mother-in-law is killing Manuel, so he decides to go live with his parents, a decision that sends a death knell to his marriage. As husband and wife begin to live apart from one another, they soon forget what brought them together. Aire libre (2014) is an honest depiction of marriage between a middle class couple living in Argentina, it shows the pain that accompanies a fractured union, and it also shows us Leonardo Sbaraglia’s buns in three scenes, along with peen in one. One out of two ain’t bad!
