The state of the film industry can be measured in its amount of state-named movies from Arizona (1940) starring William Holden to Nebraska (2013) showcasing Bruce Dern with Oklahoma! (1955), Georgia (1995), Montana (1998), Iowa (2005) and Illinois (2008) in between. Of course, we can’t forget Matt Dillon in Kansas (1988), Brad Pitt in Kalifornia (1993), and Keanu Reeves in My Own Private Idaho (1991) and Feeling Minnesota (1996). Last, but not least, there’s the 50th state of Hawaii (2013) which also happens to be a movie — not to be confused with the Elvis Presley musical Blue Hawaii (1961) or the epic Hawaii (1966) featuring Gene Hackman and Richard Harris. Under the pen and direction of Marco Berger, this gay drama follows estranged childhood friends Martin (Manuel Vignau) and Eugenio (Mateo Chiarino) as they reunite in the Argentinean countryside. Martin is homeless so he starts doing odd jobs around town and eventually stumbles upon Eugenio’s door while looking for work. The two dudes begin reliving old memories which brings the them closer together in more ways then one. Your hand will get closer to your privates when Mateo bares a bit of his rod and pubes. Meanwhile, Manuel adds a dash of blurry dink when he relieves himself in the woods. In other words, fast forward to the film’s 00:28:35 and 01:25:36 minute marks to enjoy some flesh flashing from these hotties. Suffice it to say, what this indie flick lacks in cash, it more than makes up for in skin!
