Biography

Something skinsational happened all over the world on May 4th. For starters, Lance Bass, Shameik Moore and Will Arnett were born in the U.S. as was Jesse Moss in Canada. The same can be said of Spain’s Óscar Jaenada, Germany’s Aleksandar Jovanovic, and Australia’s Toby Schmitz. Of course, we must add England’s Alex Lawther to this list. Like the other onscreen stunners who share his birthday, the British bloke raises more than just Mr. Man’s interest! With his fine face and lean physique, the lovely lad was meant to be onscreen. Fans will know him from the Netflix show Black Mirror (2016), the miniseries Howards End (2017), and for his shirtless turn on Channel 4’s The End of the F***ing World (2017-2019). Alex first burst onto the scene as a young Alan Turing in the critically-acclaimed drama The Imitation Game (2014). For the record, Benedict Cumberbatch portrayed the more mature Turing in the same flick. However, it was Lawther who received the London Film Critics’ Circle Award for “Young British Performer of the Year” and was deemed one of BAFTA’s Breakthrough Brits. Perhaps that’s why the budding brunette broke out of his clothes in Departure (2015). Not to be confused with Martin Scorsese’s The Departed (2006) starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg, Departure is a family feature that marks Alex’s nude debut! Indeed, the overexposed actor reveals his chest, arse, penis, and same-sex preference for Phénix Brossard! Recently, Alex could be seen in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch (2021). Ooh la la!
