Angelica (2015)

Angelica (2015) is a horror film written and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein, the filmmaker who first blew up as the writer and director of Teeth (2007). Vastly different from his vag with chompers flick, the film takes place in Victorian era London where Constance (Jena Malone) has gone from a poor orphan to an upper-class woman married to wealthy scientist Dr. Joseph Barton (Ed Stoppard). When she gets pregnant with Angelica (Emma Caraman), she narrowly survives childbirth and is told that she can't have sex anymore because getting pregnant again might kill her. Constance becomes an overprotective mom, first because there's a ghost living in the house that seems to constantly be standing over Angelica, and then because she starts to wonder if the ghost isn't actually protecting Angelica from her very horny but sexually repressed husband. Needless to say, there's a lot of symbolism in the film including the ghost covering everything in a sticky ectoplasm that sure looks a lot like man goo. Busting makes me feel good, indeed. But before boning became a potentially fatal event, we got to see a whole lot of Ed Stoppard putting a stop to the idea there's a hotter English actor on the scene. Ed shows off his perfect peen and balls while having sex with Jena Malone before getting stabbed! She's having some kind of orgasmic ghost experience, but Ed's third leg could more than make that happen for her without having to get any specters involved. The only supernatural event we’re concerned with is how magical Ed’s beautiful body is! If doing it means his wife has to risk her life, sign us up for sex with the dude from Angelica!
