Dope (2015)

Dope (2015) is a coming-of-age tale about a bunch of nerds living in the gritty world of Inglewood, California who end up knee deep in the criminal underworld. Malcom (Shameik Moore) is a senior in high school living in the projects and dreaming of going to Harvard. He is also a major geek and longs to be cool, but the fact that he dresses like it's the 90's and hangs out with fellow geeks Jib (Tony Revolori) and Diggy (Kiersey Clemons) kills any chances of that. Malcolm is friends with local hottie Nakia (Zoe Kravitz) though, and she coyly tells local drug kingpin Dom (ASAP Rocky) that she'll only come to his big party if Malcolm and his buddies can come too. They do, only for the cops to show up and Malcolm to end up with drugs, a phone and a gun in his backpack when Dom has to flee but plants evidence all over him. Dom gets pinched by the cops but reaches out to Malcolm after an unknown caller tells Malcolm to take the guns and drugs to a certain address. Dom's adamant that Malcolm should ignore that call and take the drugs to the address he gives Malcolm, instead. Conundrum! Malcolm takes Dom's advice, then realizes him and his buddies will have to sell all the drugs while ducking whoever was the mysterious, unknown caller. Things gets pretty hairy for the Harvard applicant, but he's a smart kid. We're sure he'll figure things out. Speaking of figures, he may play nerdy, but Shameik Moore has the body of a Greek god. In one scene he finds himself shirtless in jeans showing off his amazing, chiseled body. He wanders into a room with a nearly nude girl who wrestles him to the ground then pukes on him. A little later a nude Shameik is sitting on the edge of his bed jerking it to some pics on his phone. We don’t get to see the wang, but we get some sidage as he beats his dick like it owes him money. Nerd or not, when Shameik shows some skin, Dope becomes one cool flick! You'll shoot a rope to Shameik in Dope!
