BearCity (2010) proves that romance can be fun and hairy. Put down your map, because you won’t find the titular location anywhere but in your fantasies. Set in New York City during an especially hot summer, the indie gay comedy follows a group of friends as they get ready to partake in the annual, weeklong celebration of burly, beefy, hairy bear men. Sounds great, right? It gets better. Wannabe cub Tyler (Joe Conti) dreams of two things--banging Santa and finding a bear to warm his bed. But with nothing but peach fuzz adorning his body, Tyler finds it hard to find some fuzz-covered love. When the part-time-monogamous couple Brent (Stephen Guarino) and Fred (Brian Keane) invite the fur-curious dude to move in and spice up their sex life, the hilarity begins. Throw in the Southern dude Michael (Carlos Abrieu) struggling to deal with his issues, and serial stud Roger (Gerald McCullouch) on the war path for more ass, and it's easy to see why this one is unbearably funny! But does anyone bare it all? Oh yes, there is far from a naked dude scarcity in BearCity. For those of us who can't get enough of the Ursus, Brian Keane and the insanely hairy Blake Evan Sherman end up in a wild threesome in the shower with Stephen Guarino. Nothing like a little mating before hibernating! Joe Conti shows his twinky tush during a dirty fashion show with Alex Di Dio, but he'll also bend over some dude with a Santa hat. Ho-Ho-time for the big O! Gerald McCullouch is in the middle of an insane all male orgy, with guys getting bent over tables, double teamed, and all sorts of crazy stuff. Throw in Sebastian La Cause's butt La causing us to get a raging boner, Leslie Smith musclebearing it up all over the place, and more, and BearCity will have you looking to stuff one of these Teddy's!
