Anna Fucking Molnar (2017)

The film Anna Fucking Molnar (2017) may not be a classic like Anna and the King of Siam (1946), Anna and the King (1999) or the various versions of Anna Karenina (1911, 1918, 1920, 1935, 1948, 1953, 1961, 1975, 1977, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2012, 2017, 2018), but the title certainly is more memorable — even if you can’t say it in polite company. Under the direction of Sabine Derflinger, this Austrian rom-com features Nina Proll (who co-wrote the screenplay with Ursula Wolschlager) in the title role. Anna Molnar is an actress who has seen better days both personally and professionally. Not only was her theater premier a flop, her ex has moved on with someone new. What’s a girl to do? Well, in this case, Anna is rescued by a firefighter called Christian (Murathan Muslu). The handsome hunk bares his back and butt while banging the lucky leading lady. If that’s not hot enough, the topless hottie sprays his firehose. No euphemism here. He has access to an actual firehose. So that’s why Murathan nabbed a Romy Award nomination for Favorite Actor. He probably would have won if he exposed his flesh hose! The risky romp also includes Franziska Weisz, Michael Klammer, Nadeshda Brennicke, Simon Schwarz, Uwe Ochsenknecht, and the skin on Gregor Bloéb. As a theatrical actor named Laszlo, the latter man touts his chest and ass crack on stage. Encore, encore! Nevertheless, Mr. Man burns for Mr. Muslu. Whenever we think of the firefighting fox, our pants are on fire!
