The internet has been abuzz with news of Brendan Fraser starring in the brand new Darren Aronofsky movie The Whale. The Whale is going to be an adaptation of a successful stage play with the same name about an obese recluse who hides from the world and just eats. This means we will get to see Brendan do that classic Oscar-obtaining-weight-gain and he will likely be using prosthetics and costuming that make him look larger, but it also means that we get more Brendan in a major role that we haven't seen him do yet. Seriously, where has Brendan been? If anyone remembers the 1990s, then you remember that Brendan was a stone-cold fox.
So I ask you: are you ready for Brendan Fraser's BIG comeback? I know I am. Sure, he'll look different than he did when he showed his tush in With Honors or The Passion of Darkly Noon.
He'll look different than he did in his steamy group shower scene in 1992's School Ties.
