Okay. George of the Jungle (1992) didn’t win any Oscars, but it’s got some of the best visuals, courtesy of Brendan Fraser. Playing vine swinger George, who refers to himself in the first person, there’s some serious six-pack action going on, and a loin cloth that covers what it’s supposed to, but still shares enough to make a little drool not unreasonable. There’s a scene where he’s naked and wet, and all his muscles are shiny and lit by the sun, and he’s just so friggin’ hot. George looks good! Long hair throwing you off? Catch him in nothing but a towel and a crew cut as Clayton in Gods and Monsters (1998). Need more? Watch his bare bottom illuminated in golden-yellow sunshine as Darkly in The Passion of Darkly Noon (1995). Looking for a younger version? Brendan took us to school early in his career and taught us that his ass could stop a runaway train in School Ties (1992), thanks to a short shower scene; we get a nice shot of Brendan’s talented rear alongside fellow hunksMatt Damon and Chris O’Donnell. Next up, he left military school and went to college in With Honors (1994), where he gets out of bed fully nude and gives us a rumptastic rear view. Brandon’s packing a few more pounds these days, and a little less hair, but he’s still hot and funny and sweet and smart when we see him in parts like John Gunther in The Affair from 2016-2017, Nathan Fowler in Condor in 2018, as Doug Jones in Soderbergh’s No Sudden Move (2021), and as Garfield Lynns in Batgirl (2022).
