Bunker (2021)

The Mexican HBO Max Original Series Bunker tells the story of Vladimiro Ortiz (Bruno Bichir), a plumbing supplies magnate who has more or less abandoned his nagging family to live in full time in the titular Soviet-era underground shelter beneath his house. It seems that every time Vladimiro leaves the bunker to see what's going on in the outside world, he ends up getting nagged by his wife Amparo (Claudette Maillé) or desperately hit up for money by one of his good for nothing kids. To make matters worse, his oldest son Casper (Ricardo Polanco) has joined a group of disorganized revolutionaries who hatch a hare brained scheme to kidnap beleaguered amusement park owner Napoleón Ortega (Miguel Rodarte) and hold him for ransom. When their hideout gets raided, Casper makes the decision to take Napoleón and his partners in crime to his father's bunker where they can hide out from the law... not to mention from the Chechnya mafiosos looking to retrieve him without paying the ransom! All Vladimiro wanted was peace but it's pretty much the last thing he's in for in this wild Mexican comedy that seems to constantly ratchet up the tension and the laughs! Our favorite thing about this show is the insane nudity reversal on display as the show features no female nudity but plenty of male nudity! We not only get to see the bare butts of Miguel Rodarte, Daniel Haddad, and Victor Manuel Resendiz Ruiz, we get some hot shirtless action Juan Pablo de Santiago, Victor Oliveira, and series star Bruno Bichir! The boys of Bunker have some hot Buns-ker!
