Causeway (2022)

Causeway (2022) is an Apple Original Film starring Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence in the role of Lynsey, a veteran of the Afghanistan war, who works odd jobs like cleaning pools while awaiting redeployment. What she doesn't realize is that she's not likely going to be redeployed because of a catastrophic brain injury she suffered which turned out to be worse than they initially thought. With the help of another wayward damaged soul (Brian Tyree Henry), Lynsey will adjust to life back home with a mother (Linda Emond) unable to truly understand and care for her daughter's PTSD. Big Time BTH Brian Tyree Henry—who was so amazing in If Beale Street Could Talk (2018)—taps back into that magic, even shucking his shirt here to go swimming with Jennifer Lawrence!
