Chevalier (2022)

The life of noted 18th century French-Caribbean violinist and composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges comes to life in the film Chevalier (2022). Played here by Kelvin Harrison, Jr., the film charts Bologne's rise from his birth on a plantation to his education at Paris' finest schools where he eventually became the toast of the city thanks to his fencing skills. Facing all manner of opposition from the elite because of the color of his skin, Bologne seeks to change minds by demonstrating superior skills to nearly everyone he encounters, including Mozart (Joseph Prowen).

His biggest roadblock, however, comes in his infatuation with opera singer Marie-Josephine de Montalembert (Samara Weaving), whose powerful husband attempts to prevent Bologne from playing at his theatre. Sadly the film keeps most of the bedroom activity off screen, though we do see Kelvin Harrison, Jr. shirtless in the aftermath of an orgy! It's a damn shame we didn't get to see him at, frankly, any other point in the orgy!
