Prisoner's Daughter (2023)

Prisoner's Daughter is about a convict named Max (Brian Cox) spending a lengthy sentence behind bars. When he gets a terminal medical diagnosis, he is allowed to live out the rest of his time at his adult daughter and her young son's house. The daughter Maxine is played by Kate Beckinsale, and as one can imagine, she has some conflicting feelings about living under the same roof as her criminal father with a violent past. Prisoner's Daughter examines this complex relationship, as well as the relationship that Max is now allowed to have with his grandson. You know what's not complex? Our feelings about Jay Klay.
