Body Brokers (2021)

The 2021 crime exposé Body Brokers sheds light on a little-known (but widely implemented) scam happening right under our noses! Believe it or not, crooks commonly cash in on a loophole regarding drug rehab centers. You see, under the ordinance of the Affordable Care Act, rehab centers can bill upwards of $300,000 per patient - but there's a catch. Only 10% of patients actually get clean through rehab, so repeat customers are the bread and butter of these centers. Con artists actually pay addicts to recruit fellow addicts to check in... in hopes that they won't check out. Or at least, that they check back in... again. Make sense? Good! Now, you might be wondering what all of this has to do with Mr. Man. And we'll tell you. Body Brokers introduces us to a couple of Ohio junkies: Utah (played by Jack Kilmer) and Opal (played by Alice Englert). Utah soon finds himself in an ultra-ritzy California drug rehab center, where he has every intent on getting clean. And he assumes the same can be said for his fellow patients. Wrong! Wood (Michael Kenneth Williams) lets Utah in on the aforementioned scam, and expects Utah to help him rake in addicts so they can subsequently rake in the dough. But when Opal gets thrown into the mix, Utah must decide which lines he's willing to cross. At a crazy pool party, Jack Kilmer shows off his shirtless bod, and even gets down and dirty for a sex scene! Meanwhile the hunktastic Michael Kenneth Williams is named Wood for a reason. His beefy bod is giving us all kinds of wood! Body Broker? I hardly know her!
