Summoning Sylvia (2023)

Summoning Sylvia is a slice of queer cinema that may just become an annual Halloween favorite among groups of gays. This is a gay horror comedy starring some of the biggest names in the gay community, like Frankie Grande and Michael Urie. Travis Coles plays Larry - a soon-to-be married gay man who is blindfolded and whisked away for a fun filled bachelor party weekend by his group of close gay friends. The Victorian house that they rent for the weekend ends up being haunted, and Grande's character Nico, who dabbles in witchcraft, is able to make a connection with the home's previous owner, Sylvia. It turns out that she murdered her son, who the group of friends deduce was gay due to a picture of him with another boy that they find in the house. Mysteries and laughs about as Sylvia's story unfolds! Frankie Grande bares the most here by showing his bulge while shaving his legs on the toilet. Plus check out some light action from Noah J. Ricketts and Sean Grandillo. Maybe Sylvia is just mad that there's no nudity!
