What's unique about this German drama from Netflix is that it doesn't have a specific timeline. Some of it takes place in 1986. Some in 1953. And even more in 2019. Only, these aren't separate times at all - people overlap in each one, some staying the same age and others not. All this becomes apparent to the wiser of the townsfolk when a young child goes missing. "Where is Mikkel?" quickly becomes "When is Mikkel?" and who brought him there? Luckily, there are tons of sexy shirtless German men to gaze upon while this show bends your mind in the best way possible. Peter Benedict, Moritz Jahn, Mark Waschke, Andreas Pietschmann, and Oliver Masucci all shucked their shirts in tons of timelines!
