Deadbeat (2014-2016)

Hulu's comedic series Deadbeat follows Kevin Pacalioglu (Tyler Labine) or "Pac," a financially strapped man with one special gift to offer the world. That's right, like Haley Joel Osment and Jennifer Love Hewitt before him, Pac sees dead people. He talks to them too. He even tries to help them, though unlike the phony medium Camomile White (played by So You Think You Can Dance's host Cat Deeley in her first scripted role) Pac can't turn a profit in the "unfinished business" business. Still, there's reward in seeing these spirits finally resolve their real world matters and Pac knows he's the only man for the job. In season 2, episode 10, titled "The Unholy Trinity" Labine throws caution and good taste to the wind and strips down to his tighty whities in a church of all places. But while strange looking to the faithful spectators, Pac's act is not one of sacrilegious streaking, but rather a brave display of heroism, prompted by his efforts to save a lady before she dies.
