TV Land's Nobodies (2017) is a realistic comedy series about a group of friends who are actors, writers, and other showbusiness nobodies created by and starring three actual showbusiness nobodies. Groundlings members Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf and Rachel Ramras all play themselves in this one. They're striking out left and right in Hollywood and think that getting their former Groundlings cast member Melissa McCarthy to star in the screenplay they just wrote would really help their careers. The problem is that none of them are really all that close with Melissa, and the only writing experience they have is working on an animated Nickelodeon show called The Fartlemans. Desperate, the group resort to such pathetic tactics as crashing a pickup basketball game Jason Bateman's playing in so they can pitch the film while guarding him and trying to corner Allison Janney in an elevator to land a business contact. For two seasons, including a second season switch to the Paramount Network, the trio did their best to find any path into Hollywood they could. The most compelling thing about this show was all the cameos from real stars! A sort of Entourage but for people who never made it, somebody famous was always popping up in an episode. Zach Morris himself, Mark-Paul Gosselaar plays Rachel's neighbor and sometimes boyfriend. Mark-Paul lets us see his shirtless body when he gets out of the swimming pool in his red swim trunks. Timeout! How'd Mark-Paul get so jacked as a middle-aged man. No body looks as good as his, but Larry Dorf does show us a bit of bum when he lies naked on top of a kitchen table. Nobody would turn down the chance to see him go full-frontal! Mr. Man would sure love to be eff buddies with those dudes from Nobodies!
