Of course, we must add Dean Cain to this list. The dashing actor played Clark Kent (aka Superman) opposite Teri Hatcher on the DC Comics-inspired series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993-1997). Years before Dean became a small screen stud, he was playing baseball with his Santa Monica High School mates Charlie Sheen and Rob Lowe. As a football star at Princeton University, the sexy scholar dated Brooke Shields. The Big Man on Campus marked his graduation by signing with the Buffalo Bills. But when he suffered a knee injury, Cain redirected his career to TV. The boob tube babe portrayed Inspector Jack Ellis on The Division (2003-2004); Conrad Dean on Clubhouse (2004-2005); Casey Manning on Las Vegas (2005-2006); Graham on Lady Dynamite (2016); and Pete Davenport on Hit the Floor (2013-2016, 2018). He’s also known for hosting Ripley’s Believe It or Not! (1999-2003) and Masters of Illusion (2014-present). But because of his celebrated Superman stint, Dean scored a guest spot on Smallville (2007) and a recurring role on Supergirl (2015-2017). He also popped up as Clark Kent in Cutty Whitman (1996) and voiced Clark Kent’s dad in the animated movie DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year (2016). Yet Mr. Man prefers Dean’s topless turn in the PG-13 romp Rat Race (2001). Seeing his chiseled chest is super, man!
