Death by Lightning (2025)

The Netflix historical miniseries Death by Lightning tells the incredible but often overlooked story of the 20th President of the United States, James Garfield, and his tragic assassination. Legendary actor Michael Shannon takes on the role of Garfield, while Matthew Macfadyen is his assassin, Charles J. Guiteau. Matthew was an avid Garfield admirer, but he was pushed over the edge by his own obsession. Betty Gilpin and Nick Offerman round out this star-studded cast, but we're turning to another historical figure for the only hotness in Death by Lightning. It turns out that Senator Tom Platt was into that kinky stuff! He comes to life on screen courtesy of the actor Andrew Hefler, who covers his crotch while tied up in bed by a prostitute! Dead.
