Debuting in 2018 and lasting a solid five seasons, New Amsterdam brought something a bit new to the crowded field of network medical dramas. Based off of former practicing doctor Eric Manheimer's nonfiction book "Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital," the show made its mark by focusing on a doctor trying to uproot the system, assault the insurance companies, and eliminate the needless bureaucracy all in the name of saving patients. Mr. Man cares more about h-o-m-os than HMO's, but he still liked it! Ryan Eggold is our sexy star, Dr. Max Goodwin. Max is the new medical director at New Amsterdam, a rundown old hospital that he's convinced he can polish into the jewel of the New York healthcare system. Since he starts out talking about all the changes he's going to make including firing some of the workers who aren't up to snuff, it's not long before Max has made a whole lot of enemies at his new gig. Why is Max so willing to go after the establishment? He's secretly sick himself, so he knows all about the frustration the patients are feeling. We were feeling all sorts of sexual frustration due to the lack of skin! Isn't Amsterdam supposed to be sexually liberated? Why isn't New Amsterdam the same? Two dudes we'd love to come across in the red-light district were Tyler Labine and Mike Doyle, who play a gay couple who are both doctors. Imagine the dual incomes! Okay, once you're done thinking about all the child-free cash they'd be raking in, watch as the two take their shirts off and make out with each other. JJ Feild was having a field day when he took his shirt off in the locker room and let a woman straddle him in the gym. But the doc that really stiffened our cock was Ryan Eggold, who we got to see getting a CAT scan and getting a woman's kitty purring thanks to his rock hard abs. New Amster-dam that's a nice body!
