There’s flesh flashed in the neo-noir mystery Eyes of Laura Mars (1978), not to be confused with the horror flick The Eyes of My Mother (2016) or the biopic The Eyes of Tammy Faye (2021) starring Jessica Chastain and Andrew Garfield. Set during those sparkly days of disco, this R-rated thriller focuses on the titular photographer (Faye Dunaway) who has supernatural skills. Thanks to her camera’s viewfinder, Ms. Mars can see through the eyes of a serial killer whenever he commits a murder. As such, she goes to the police to try and help them in any way possible. Unfortunately, Lieutenant John Neville (Tommy Lee Jones) thinks the sexy shutterbug could actually be the killer herself. But after the copper gets busy with Laura, he is convinced of her innocence. The remaining problem is the murderer is now after her. In addition to including the photos of Helmut Newton, the movie marks the breakthrough for one of the most famous names in horror — John Carpenter wrote the script (with David Zelag Goodman) and later that year released his cult hit Halloween (1978). The film also features Brad Dourif, Darlanne Fleugel, Raúl Juliá, René Auberjonois, and the skin on Mr. Jones. Granted, Tommy Lee doesn’t expose his junk, but he reveals his pecs while lounging around with Ms. Dunaway. Moments later, he shows his chest again. Needless to say, his pink torso is a sight for sore eyes and a soft peen. Looks like Eyes of Laura Mars may excite your thighs!
