Gaslit (2022)

In the history of American Presidents, most everyone in the world would rank Richard Nixon at or near the bottom of that list of "Good Commander in Chiefs".  His defining moment and the scandal that led to him resigning the office, Watergate, wasn't just a crime, it was the shit show to end all shit shows and had quite the interesting cast of characters involved.  From John Mitchell (Sean Penn), whose wife Martha (Julia Roberts) pretty much acted as the primary whistleblower to the press, to John Dean (Dan Stevens) the attorney who helped with the cover-up and later turned witness to avoid jail, to G. Gordon Liddy (Shea Whigham) the full-blown psycho who lead the group of five men in the break-in.  Gaslit follows the entire team of people involved in the break-in, the cover-up, the scandal, and even personal lives of the bad guys and the crappy President who took a nose dive because of their involvement!  While there is plenty of "Beltway" hanky panky from the political elite, going to orgies and what not, it's Shea Whigham bending and spreading as the newly incarcerated G. Gordon Liddy who gives us the lone nude scene in this series with his bubble butt!
