Hex (2004-2005)

On the rare occasion that Mr. Man can get his mind off of sex, it inevitably wanders to Sky One's supernatural series Hex. Airing for two seasons starting in 2004, in the first season we follow a boarding school student named Cassie (Christina Cole), who learns that she’s actually a witch. She can see the future, move stuff with her mind, and can trace her ancestry back to a bunch of women who were hung for witchcraft. When she falls for fallen angel Azazeal (Michael Fassbender himself), despite him having killed her roommate Thelma (Jemma Rooper) who ends up a pissed off ghost haunting Cassie via nonstop cock-blocking, things get tricky. When she gets knocked up by the angel and told that their child will weaken the veil between the angel world and the human world, things get downright insane. The short-lived series explored the bewitching premise further in the second season, where the ancient Ella Dee (Laura Pyper) rules the school as the immortal chosen one and Cassie's kid (Joseph Beattie) grows into a hot student seducing all his classmates. Fassbender and Cole bailed on season two, which might explain why viewership dropped off and this one never got a third season.
