The creator of HBO’s The Wire (2002-2008) turns his critical eye on the American invasion of Iraq in Generation Kill (2009). Based on the same-named book by Rolling Stone reporter Evan Wright, this 7-part saga follows a group of U.S. Marines led by Staff Sergeant Brad “Iceman” Colbert (Alexander Skarsgård). Throughout the mission, we get to see depictions of real life soldiers such as First lieutenant Nathaniel Fick (Stark Sands), Gunnery Sergeant Mike “Gunny” Wynn (Marc Menchaca) and Sergeant Rodolfo “Rudy” Reyes as himself. Even though the latter hunk doesn’t show his junk, he does display his naked T&A in episode 1. What can we say? We like a man out of uniform! By episode 7, Rudy reveals his impressive pecs while wrestling in his black briefs. No doubt, you’ll be wrestling with your zipper when you ogle the chest on Captain Craig “Encino Man” Schwetje (Brian Patrick Wade). Not to be outdone, Mr. Menchaca touts his toned torso in the same episode. That goes double for Corporal Jason Lilley (Kellan Lutz) and Sergeant Leandro “Shady B" Baptista (Mike. Figueroa) who flash their abs. Last, but not least, Mr. Skarsgård isn’t too shy to show off his Skarsglutes in episode 4. That’s when the topless hottie steams up the screen as he pulls down his pants. At the risk of repeating himself, Alexander goes shirtless again in episode 6. Sure, General William Tecumseh Sherman said “War is Hell,” but the dudity on this series is heavenly. Generation Kill? More like Generation Spill!
