Whether you think it's top ten, top five or numero uno, the HBO mob drama The Sopranos is undoubtedly one of the greatest television shows of all time.Airing from 1999 to 2007 and racking up 21 Emmy's along the way, the OG of prestige TV follows Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), the big boss man of a New Jersey Mafia family. Unlike the gaggle of gangsters that Hollywood has created, this heavy-hitter has a conscience, which combined with the stresses that inherently come attached with such a dubious position as a crime boss, causes him such anxiety that he often visits a head shrink, Dr. Melfi (Lorraine Bracco). But while he’s on the couch, it’s not all about business—he discusses his everyday problems. From his inability to deal with his aging mother (Nancy Marchand) to his constant worrying over his headstrong daughter, Meadow (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) and his hip hop loving son A.J. (Robert Iler), combined with his fractured relationship with his unhappy wife, Carmela (Edie Falco), Tony has a lot on his plate besides spaghetti and meatballs. On the business side of his life, the larger-than-life mobster is feeling pressure from his upstart nephew, Christopher (Michael Imperioli), while locking horns in a power struggle with his uncle Junior (Dominic Chianese). Throw in a bunch of lackeys and leeches, and it will take more than a prescription for Prozac to deal with Tony’s problems. While the nudity of the female variety dominates the series in large part because the mobsters own a strip club called Bada Bing!, there are some crowning moments of male flesh, mainly of the shirtless variety, from manly men like Michael Imperioli, Tony Sirico, and Federico Castelluccio. As for real nudity, there's a look at Cameron Boyd's buns when he makes the mistake of passing out at a party and getting written on in Sharpie, David Proval thrusting into a lucky woman, as well as a shot of Joe Pantoliano without his pants as he lies face first on the couch. Soprano? Alto? Either way you'll be singing those sexy men's praises! Dominic Chianese shows what a well-aged chest looks like changing in the locker room alongside an Italian stallion named Al Sapienza, James Gandolfini looks bulky and beefy taking a dip in the pool, John Heard has a shower scene you've probably heard about and more! Those scenes in The Sopranos will put some bada in your bing!
