I Love America (2022)

For the lovely Parisian born and bred Lisa (Sophie Marceau), love has been elusive for most of her life.  She's been a career driven artist, making a name for herself as a film director in France, so the men in her life have fallen by the wayside.  So she decides the best way to try her chances at love on the other side of 50 is to move to a new city in a new country.  She chooses Los Angeles and immediately enters into the young woman's game of dating apps, chance encounters at bars, and even letting her gay best friend try helping her meet men at random.  Sophie lands on a fling with John (Colin Woodell), whom she meets on a dating app, but things get a bit tense when he finds out she has been lying about her age.  Then she goes to determine why she is repressed about her ways by spending some time with casual nudist Bjørn (David Owe), who gives surprising sage advice.  Sophie might love America, but she's learning that loving the right man is about the journey, not the destination or city you live in.  David Owe makes an impressive Nudecomer debut by showing off his muscular buns and Colin Woodell can charm the pants off of even you after seeing him in bed in his boxer briefs!
