John Sex Nude

With his towering hair and magnetic personality, Long Island native John Sex was one of the biggest names in the gay cabaret scene of late 70s and early 80s New York City. Associated with other performance artists of the time like Joey Arias and Klaus Nomi, Sex created his character to be a cheesy Las Vegas style lounge singer by way of the punk rock scene, and was a frequent collaborator of Andy Warhol! Sex's performance of his staple "Hustle with My Muscle" is featured in the doc Mondo New York (1988), where Sex performs in assless chaps and even shows us his butthole! Sadly, Sex would leave us one week before Halloween, 1990, but his legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of performance art lovers everywhere!
