Mondo New York (1988)

In the grand tradition of the European Mondo films of the 60s like Mondo Cane (1962), the "documentary" Mondo New York (1988) takes viewers on a tour of the performance art scene of scummy 1980s New York City! The film is jam packed with such figures of the time and movement like drag queen Joey Arias, comedian and actor Rick Aviles, and performance artist and actress Ann Magnuson, and various other folks of the scene like Charlie Barnett, Joe Coleman, Phoebe Legere, and Frank Moore! The film's sexiest scene, however, comes to us courtesy of aptly named performance artist John Sex as he performs the song "Hustle With My Muscle" in assless chaps, even bending over at one point to give us a look at his butthole! These truly were the good old days!
