Johnny Larsen (1979)

Set in 1950s Denmark, the romantic drama Johnny Larsen (1979) follows the titular 18-year-old (Allan Olsen) as he struggles to make sense of his life and the immediate world around him. When Johnny graduates from high school, he quickly gets a bitter taste of the boredom and conformity of the workplace, which he rebels against by getting fired.
