Locked Up (2015-2018)

When Vis a Vis or Locked Up (2018) debuted in the small screen, a whole lot of people thought the show was essentially Spanish language version of Orange is the New Black. But while it's also about an upper-class woman who ends up in an all-woman prison, Locked Up was way grittier and rawer than its far more comedic counterpart. Debuting on Antena 3 before switching over to Fox Spain, on the show a woman named Macarena (seriously) (Maggie Civantos) falls for an older, manipulative drug lord and ends up doing a few small crimes for him. She gets caught and thrown in jail where she has to fit in among hardened prisoners like the infamous prison queen Zulema (Najwa Nimri). Over the course of four seasons viewers watched Macarena learn the ropes of life while locked up, end up at the mercy of some masochistic guards after a prison escape leads to a change in leadership, get introduced to a new group of gals moving into a different prison when a ton of the actresses left the show, and even see what life for a guard turned prisoner (Adriana Paz) at the very prison where she used to work. Nobody comes to a women-in-prison show looking for male nudity, but this one actually has a ton! Hey Macarena! The very sexy Ramon Rados is in bed with Maggie in one scene and sporting his salt-and-pepper chest fuzz as he holds her. Maggie really gets around because she also has sex with Roberto Enriquez in a church, who shows us his butt a bit later while taking a shower. We get full frontal nudity from Ramon Esquinas when he takes it all off to prove he's not wearing a wire, not knowing there is a gunman hiding and aiming at him as he waits for the order to shoot. Don't shoot, his cock and balls are arresting! Throw in Michael Batista doing the shirtless, bowtie Chippendales look while bartending, and for a women-in-prison show, Locked Up had the sexy dudes game on lock!
