Love & Basketball (2000)

In 1981 Los Angeles a girl named Monica (Sanaa Lathan) moves next door to a boy named Quincy (Omar Epps), kicking off a lifelong relationship centered around Love & Basketball (2000). Divided into four periods, the film kicks off with the pair as kids, when Monica beats Quincy in a game of one-on-one and the two become sort of childhood rivals. In high school, Quincy will become the coolest kid in school thanks to his skills on the b-ball court, which will lead to him dating Shawnee (Gabrielle Union), and really making Monica jealous. Don't worry, they'll hook up when both play for the USC Trojans and get it on as much as they "Fight On," though their relationship will falter once they become pros with Quincy playing for the Lakers and Monica playing in Spain. After a lifetime of this on again off again relationship, will they stay together or leave each other's lives forever? The only way for them to decide is via a one-on-one rematch, as absurd as that sounds. A cult classic that has become one of the most well-known black movies of the early 2000's, you'll want to go mano a mano with the hot men in this flick! As the hooper with the great pooper, we are treated to many great shots of Omar Epps working hard and sweating on the court. He looks great in his uniform or in a tight pair of shorts while he's playing shirts against skins. You will be double dribbling your balls when he plays a game of strip basketball with his girlfriend. He doesn’t fare so well and ends up in the raw, but as he walks over to kiss her, we get a great shot of his athletic rear in action. Filled with hot athletes and some great sports scenes as well as some sexy, intimate moments, Love & Basketball will have you working up a sweat.
