In the Ridley Scott directed drama Matchstick Men (2003), an obsessive-compulsive con man named Roy Waller (Nicolas Cage) and his protégé Frank (Sam Rockwell) spend their time swindling naive people out of their cash. But it's a miserable life of nickel and diming dimwits with the constant risk of getting found out. Tired of these small-time cons, Frank wants to pull a bigger job, but the neurotic Roy is too consumed with fear, which leads him to visit a psychotherapist (Bruce Altman) to get medicated and heal from an emotionally damaging divorce. When Roy discovers he is the father of a teenage girl named Angela (Alison Lohman), he delves deeper into Frank’s lofty swindle. Apparently, Frank's got a big scheme to screw a guy named Chuck (Bruce McGill) out of a ton of money. When she's kicked out of her own house, Roy and Angela to grow closer as he teaches her the tricks of the trade. The pair grow into a family, with Angela helping Roy deal with his mental health issues. But when Frank's surefire con goes sideways, Roy starts to question who is really conning who. He's no confidence man, but Mr. Man is pretty confident you'll want to see the scene where Nicolas Cage shows his butt. Cage is in what he thinks is a hospital after things go awry, and when he wanders outside to realize what's really going on, his Johnny opens up and we see his buns! We'd scam on him anytime, because that con man has a great can! You'll want to match with a tall, kind of weird dude like Nic on any dating app after seeing him in Matchstick Men!
