Heartthrob extraordinaire Matt Dillon was the apple of everyone’s eye in the 1980s. And he’s still the apple of our eye at Mr. Man! With the knack of portraying tough guys with a sensitive side, the handsome actor found similar roles and much deserved success as the streetwise hottie in Little Darlings (1980), the schoolyard bully in My Bodyguard (1980), greaser Dallas Winston in The Outsiders, a street hood in Rumble Fish (1983), the middle class social climber in The Flamingo Kid (1984), a superstitious drug addict in Drugstore Cowboy (1989), and a grungy musician in Singles (1992). We got a very small view of Matt’s butt in the sexy flick A Kiss Before Dying (1991). Hey, we can’t complain. We’ll take what we can get! As Matt started to mature, losing the pretty boy glow, he garnered more diverse roles in the crime thriller Albino Alligator (1996) and in the flesh-filled drama Wild Things (1998). It was in the latter flick where Matt lost his shirt and heated up the cinema. We like our men shirtless and wild! The talented actor showed his diversity, portraying Hank Chinaski, the alter-ego of large-than-life poet Charles Bukowski in Factotum (2005). Matt finally gave us a generous view of his butt in the crazy drama. It’s like poetry in motion! Unfortunately for us, Matt has been stingy with his flesh. His many fans and adorers have ranted and shouted for more skin from Dillon. Let’s hope that Matt gives us what we want…and soon!
