Papi Chulo (2019)

Papi Chulo (2018) is a comedy where a TV weatherman, lonely and seeking companionship after a devastating breakup, becomes friends with a migrant worker he pays to tell his problems. Matt Bomer plays Sean, a gay weatherman whose life is sort of spiraling since he got dumped by his hot boytoy Rodrigo (Ryan Guzman). After an awful moment during his broadcast goes viral, he realizes he has to do whatever he can to get over his ex. Rodrigo had a giant plant on Sean's back porch, which Sean gets rid of only to realize there's a giant chunk of his porch he needs to paint. He can't bring himself to do it, so he heads to the local hardware store and finds the day working migrant Ernesto (Alejandro Patino) to do it for him. While there's a bad language barrier, Sean uses Ernesto as his sort of psychiatrist, telling him all his problems and hiring him to just hang out when he's feeling lonely. Eventually, of course Sean will stop being so selfish and start worrying about Ernesto's problems as the pair will realize all sorts of stuff about themselves. This odd couple never do any of the naked stuff couples do, but that doesn't mean the flick is skin-free. As the hot weatherman that'll get your temperature rising, Matt Bomer wasn't afraid to do some mooning. Today's forecast is that we get to see some of his buns in the shower. That'll make the grey skies go away! Meanwhile, Ryan Guzman is shirtless in an implied nude scene that lets us see his abs but hides his lower body where the camera can't see. Ay Papi! If only we could see that skin Chalupa in Papi Chulo!
