Viva (2015)

Spain and Ireland meet in Viva (2015). Not to be confused with the American flick Viva (2007), this Spanish-language Irish pic features Héctor Medina, Jorge Perugorría, Luis Alberto García, Luis Angel Batista, Tomas Cao, and Mark O’Halloran (who wrote the screenplay). Under the direction of Paddy Breathnach, the R-rated drama follows a hairdresser who does makeup for drag queens in Havana, with the dreams of performing one day himself. When his conservative boxer father returns after a 15-year absence, the young man may just learn to be part of a family again while still following his quest. Of course, if your quest is to spot some flesh, fast forward to the 11-minute mark. That’s when Oscar Ibarra Napoles shows us his impressive pecs. Even though this skinternational flick features dialogue in Spanish, you don’t need to read the subtitles to know Oscar’s abs are fantastic! In other words, the sweaty hunk is a sight for sore eyes — and a soft peen! Not to be outdone, Señor Medina gets down and dirty 59 minutes into the movie. While donning undies and nothing else, the shirtless hottie steams up the screen when he meets with a client. As you can guess, the twink removes his panties to expose his tight tush. Viva Héctor! Perhaps that’s why Viva came in fourth place for Best Irish Film at the Dublin Film Critics Circle Awards. Had the leading man revealed more, the movie might have come in first place. Nevertheless, Mr. Man says “Viva” to Viva!
