Santa & Andrés (2016)

Santa & Andrés (2016) has nothing to do with the jolly fat man who brings good kids presents and naughty kids coal, it's a Cuban flick about a gay dude being persecuted by the government. Andrés (Eduardo Martinez) is a radical gay man living in 1980's Cuba. Because they hate both his sexual orientation and willingness to speak out against the government, the government, especially the local party leader Jesus (George Abreu), have banished him to a little house in the middle of nowhere. With a big international meeting taking place, just to make sure he doesn't get any ideas the government sends Santa (Lola Amores) to sit with him and make sure he stays put for three whole days. While she's supposed to make sure he doesn't move, they start to become friends as they discuss his life, politics, and all sorts of stuff. Will he stay home and make sure she stays out of trouble or will he recruit him to his cause and gain a partner in crime? Mr. Man doesn't care either way, he just wants to form a long, meaningful "friendship" with Cesar Domínguez. And Mr. Man's friendships always come with benefits! Look at this guy's long growing dong when he pays his buddy Eduardo Martinez a visit!
