Presumed Innocent (2024-)

Based on the Scott Turow novel of the same name, Presumed Innocent has been adapted into a 1990 feature film starring Harrison Ford, and this Apple TV+ miniseries in 2024 starring Jake Gyllenhaal as Rusty Sabich, a big wheel down at the Chicago Attorney District's office. Despite having a seemingly solid relationship with his wife Barbara (Ruth Negga), Rusty embarks on a torrid affair with Carolyn Polhemus (Renate Reinsve, of The Worst Person in the World fame). When Carolyn turns up dead with Rusty's DNA all over her, the scandal threatens to rock the DA's office to its core, but Rusty insists he's an innocent man. It's a shame he's not... wait for it... Presumed Innocent!

If you Presumed that Jake Gyllenhaal would look fit and fine as fuck in this miniseries, you're right! Hot off his role in the remake of Road House (2024), Jake carries that physique into this, getting quite acrobatic in bed with Renate Reinsve! The two tangle nude on the bed for a bit with Jake baring his buns; Jake even flashes back to the good times while swimming in some tailored swimwear later on, and goes shirtless when getting booked in jail!
