The Sinner (2017-2020)

Originally envisioned as a miniseries, fans loved Bill Pullman's work as Detective Harry Ambrose in The Sinner so much that USA shifted to making it an anthology TV series where every season focused on Ambrose solving a different crime. The first season began in 2017 and followed Ambrose as he dealt with a young mother (Jessica Biel) who keeps acting out in violent rages but has no idea why. She stabs a man (Eric Todd) to death at the beach in front of tons of people but claims she doesn't remember why she did it. Ambrose believes her and tries to untangle a web of seemingly connected murders and a doctor who just might have been pumping the woman full of drugs to make her forgetful. In season two, Ambrose heads back to his hometown in New York to figure out why a thirteen-year-old boy named Julian Walker (Elisha Henig) killed his parents via poisoning. But when a woman named Vera (Carrie Coon) steps forward to claim she's really his mom and that all Julian did was kill his kidnappers in self-defense, everything from old rape claims to cult communities become part of Harry's investigation. Season three is all about college professor Jamie Burns (Matt Bomer) who survives a car wreck in upstate New York that kills his best bud Nick Haas (Chris Messina). But was it luck or something more sinister. And finally, season four centers around a now old and retired Ambrose moving to Maine and finding himself pulled out of retirement to investigate the death of rich girl from a prominent family named Percy Muldoon (Alice Kremelberg) who appears to have leapt into the ocean to her death. More of a "Why'd they do it" than a true "whodunit" we felt downright sinful watching cutie Christopher Abbott kiss Jessica Biel sans shirt. What a looker! He's a man who knows what he wants as he directs her hand down to his boner. Now that's sexy as sin! Perennial insta-boner Matt Bomer flashes ass both while boning his lady, and while stripping down to let some other lady photograph his naked body. Fap shot! Eric Todd and his amazing bod could be seen during a sex montage alongside Jacob Pitts and Gary Hillborn. Adam David Thompson shows his buns while banging a hottie against the wall. But the hottest of them all is Bill Pullman, who was always shirtless on the show and got plenty of action! If you like twisty mysteries and gorgeous men, The Sinner is a winner!
