Who knew 2018 was supposed to be so scary? Much of cinema from the 1970’s was fixated on a future dystopian world, and that mentality is no more apparent than in Norman Jewison's sci-fi cult favorite Rollerball (1975). According to the BAFTA winning flick, in the future corporations will run the world, replacing governments and forming giant monopolies that sponsor sports teams. In this new era of entertainment, the violent game that combines motorcycle carnage and football pads called Rollerball rules supreme, pitting people against each other in demolition derbies that often lead to their deaths. By far the best Rollerball player on the planet, Houston's Jonathan E. (James Caan) is told he has to retire, but thinks he's still got years of Rollerball left in him. Since the companies aren't used to hearing no, it's not long before they decide they'll make the game even more deadly to punish him for defying their order. But every game he wins just increases the crowd's love of him. And in a society where individualism is seen as a grave sin, our evil corporations just can't let that happen! You'll be dying to have some of the beefy fellas in this one roll their balls all over your face after seeing them go shirtless! Josh Beck, Bob Minor, and of course James Caan are all of our Rollerball teammates who hit the showers together a few times. Josh is sexy as Heck, while Bob Minor gives us a major boner, even if they never get past shirtlessness while showering off. And of course, there's the legendary James Caan, who likes to hang out in the locker room wearing only a towel. Hey, next time Caan you show us some ass? Ignore the 2002 remake, it's nowhere near as good as the original. James Caan will have you draining your balls to Rollerball!
